I started a blog once. It was while we lived in Washington, D.C. "Write a blog," I thought. "People {read mom} will want to see what you're doing," I thought. The blog was updated a grand total of four times in four months. We were too busy having adventures to update a blog. BUT this time will be different. Seriously people, I'm sticking to this commitment.
It has been suggested that blogging might be therapeutic for me. I seem to have a problem tolerating ambiguity. For instance, we are currently waiting for job offers/deciding which offers to take for Josh. It's driving me insane. And I'm not exaggerating; I'm literally going crazy. Here is a list of my afflicting experiences in the past week:
- Panic attacks: 2
DreamsNightmares about job interviews: 5- Times hacking Josh's email to see who emailed him a job offer: at least 15
- Anxious texts to Josh: we lost count
I have a problem. I can admit it. So, I'm going to start living in the moment. I'm going to live day by day. Notice the blog name? "a day with the Davis' " I will blog at least once a week about something wonderful that happened in one day. I won't worry about next month or next week or next year. Hopefully this will help me enjoy each day and live in the moment.
So, follow along if you like. I guarantee we will have some exciting days in the near future. Big things are happening and I'm going to enjoy them.
